Giveaway Module
With BotGhost you can host giveaways for your server! You can manage new giveaways from your Dashboard, in this module you can create/edit or delete any giveaways you want! View the tutorials below to see how you can create your own giveaways with BotGhost.


Here you can edit all the individual settings to fully customize your giveaway to fit your bot and server the way you want it.

Button Text

This is the text listed on the Button that will be shown directly below the giveaway embed. You can put a small message on this button like "Join for a chance to win!".

Participants Location

This is where you will show how many users have joined the giveaway, you can show this in the embedded message or in a button. Both of these options will display the same information, it just depends on what your style is.


The giveaway can only be started/re-rolled with a command. Here is a list of the commands with this module, what they do, and how to use them.

Start a giveaway in a specific channel by providing the giveaway information.
/giveaway-reroll <ID>
Re-roll a specific giveaway by using the Giveaway ID.
/giveaway-end <ID>
End a specific giveaway by using the Giveaway ID.

Starting the Giveaway

To start a giveaway after editing and setting up the giveaway module from your dashboard you can use the /giveaway-start command to trigger a giveaway. Using this command will give you a few options to edit, this is so you can host many giveaways at once in your server. The Channel option will be the channel the Giveaway is posted in as well as where the winner is announced. The Prize option will be what you are giving away, if you are giving away an item from the economy module you will need to add it manually. The Winners option will be how many winners will win the giveaway at the end of said giveaway. Finally, the Duration option will be how long the giveaway will last, you can do something like 1m for 1 minute or, 1h for 1 hour etc. The bot should respond with a message showing all your settings. You have created a giveaway, congrats!

Ending a Giveaway

To end a giveaway you can use the /giveaway-end command, this will end the giveaway you used the ID for. The only way you can end a giveaway, deleting the giveaway message will not end the giveaway. The bot will respond with a message confirming the end of the giveaway, a winner will be decided.

Re-rolling a Giveaway

Don't like who won? Well that's fine, you can just re-roll who won the giveaway. To re-roll the giveaway you can use the /giveaway-reroll command, this will re-roll the giveaway you used the ID for. You can re-roll a giveaway as many times as you want, each time will result in a different user. More than one users are required to enter the giveaway for a new winner to be chosen.

Extra Information

Giveaway IDs

You can re-roll or end specific giveaways by using the Giveaway ID, this can be found at the bottom of each giveaway. To re-roll a giveaway the giveaway must be over and a winner has been decided.

Giveaway Embed Color

Don't like the current embed color you have for your giveaways? That's fine just head over to the Usage Module and change the "Default Embed Colors" to the color that suits you and your server better!
