The sticky messages module allows you to send a message to a channel of your choice after so many messages, this is great for highlighting important information or adding frequent reminders! You can configure the module on the dashboard by heading to the modules section and finding the 'Sticky Messages' module.
Here you can configure all the settings for the sticky messages module from chaning the message, the frequency and more.
Manager Role: Here you can select a role to allow users with this role to add/remove messages set with the module.
Default Sticky Message: Here you can change the default message of the sticky message that's sent to the channel after so many messages as defined in the module settings below.
Repost Message Count: Here you can change how frequent the message is sent, the module bases it off of how many messages have been sent in the channel. The default value for this is set to 10.
Show Author: Here you can enable/disable the ability to show the sticky message author in the embed message. This will be the user who originally posted the sticky message and only works in embeds.
Add Reactions: Here you can enable/disable the option for the bot to add a specified reaction to the sticky message when its reposted.
Reaction Emoji: Here you can set the emoji that is added as a reaction to the sticky message when its reposted. You can use both custom emoji's or basic discord emoji's for this. You can find a guide here on how to get the ID and name of custom emoji's.
Here you can edit the main command for the sticky message module.
/Sticky-Post: When triggered this command will allow you to send a new sticky message to the channel it was triggered in. Here you can edit the command to ad more features or expand on the module.
Here you can edit the main event for the sticky message module.
Sticky Messages (Poster): This event will count the messages in the channels and send the designated sticky message when it reaches the defined message count as set in the settings above. Here you can edit the event or add to the modules functionality.
Warning: it's advised that you do not edit the event & command unless you have a good understanding of BotGhost and the Custom Event Builder/Command Builder. You can always reset the module to default if you should happen to make a mistake while editing the event or command.
