The welcome banners module will allow you to send custom welcome banners and messages to users when they join the server to add a hint of class to your welcome party. You can configure the module on the dashboard by heading to the modules section and finding the 'Welcome Banners' module.
Here you can configure the basic settings for the welcome banners module, from enabling DMs and selecting the welcome channel.
Welcoming Channel: Here you can select the channel the join message will be sent to.
Send Direct Messages: Here you can enable/disable the option to make the bot send a direct message to the user who joins the server.
Here you can cnfigure the join banner settings, from the colour, text, background and more.
Banner Text 1: Here you can enter the text that will appear in place of 'Text Line 1' (See reference below).
Banner Text 2: Here you can enter the text that will appear in place of 'Text Line 2' (See reference below).
Background Image: Here you can set the image for the background of the welcome banner. Simply enter a link to the image you wish to use.
Join Message: Here you can customise the join message that's sent to the welcome channel, note the welcome banner will automatically be added to the embed message.
Reaction Emoji: Here you can set the emoji that the bot reacts to the welcome message with, you can use basic discord emoji's or use custom server emoji's. For a guide on how to get the name and ID of a custom emoji, you can check this guide out here.
Error Logs Channel: Here you can select a channel the bot will send error logs to if it fails to send the welcome banner or welcome message.
Here you can configure the colours for the welcome banner.
Background Colour: Here you can change the background colour of the banner, please note this will not show if you have selected a banner image to be displayed.
Text 1 Colour: Here you can set the colour that 'Text Line 1' will appear as in the welcome banner. (reference below)
Text 2 Colour: Here you can set the colour that 'Text Line 2' will appear as in the welcome banner. (reference below)
Avatar Border Colour: Here you can change the colour of the border that is around the users avatar in the welcome banner. (reference below)
Here you can edit the main event of for the welcome banners module. This will allow you to fine tune the event to your liking and expand on existing functions included in the module.
Welcome Banners: Here you can edit the main event of the module to change settings and add new functions.
Warning: it's advised that you do not edit the event unless you have a good understanding of BotGhost and the Custom Event Builder. You can always reset the module to default if you should happen to make a mistake while editing the event.
